Sweet and steamy closed-door romances
make you love me
special anniversary hardcover
One lie can either destroy or save us...After four years of hot and casual nights together, Jordan Jones breaks the first rule of our friends-with-benefits arrangement, ending it for good. He wanted forever.I never expected to revisit that emotional wound until the day his sister says he's been in an accident and doesn’t remember our breakup. With his sister unable to care for him and his recovering head injury, I find myself moving in, guilt over a past I can now take back, driving the potentially reckless decision.Protecting my heart and secrets is near impossible with him so close, so perfect. He looks at me with those longing blue eyes and all my walls come crashing down. Whether I surrender or fight back, the destruction of what we once had and what we’ve since become looms over us.And this time, Jordan’s heart won’t be the only thing devastated when the truth collides with the lies.

I started writing emotional poetry as a teenager, but my biggest dream has always been to write a novel that made readers feel. That dream finally came true in in 2020 when my first idea (Jackson's story) kept me up one night.I like to add my profound respect for military service personnel and veterans to my emotional, sweet and steamy stories. So far, every book gives a happily ever after to a deserving veteran you can't help but swoon over.Life in Virginia means working full-time as a public servant and following our daughter's travel softball team to tournaments year round. When I'm not authoring, I'm binge watching action TV series with my husband.
What is closed-door?
There are many levels of closed-door romance. My books fall between fade-to-black and closed-door.CLEAN: Generally means free from any language or intimacy beyond kissing
SWEET: Feel-good, steamy kisses, may have some language
CLOSED-DOOR: Steamy to low spice kisses, angst, some clothes may come off, touching stays above the waist, implied intimacy off-page (but the door is firmly closed), may have some language
FADE TO BLACK: You'll see the start of intimacy on-page, but the author fades out before you get to more. It's usually clear that intimacy follows and you generally get more than kissing but not the full act (the door may be slightly ajar but not fully open).

a journey worth taking
journey series prequel novella
Sometimes love is worth the journey.WILL
No amount of military training could have prepared me for the chemical reaction that took over my body when I saw her for the first time. The second she set those emerald eyes on me, I knew I'd never be the same. But she's quick to remind me that she doesn't date. Well, me either, but that isn't stopping me from pursuing her like my life depends on it. The problem...I have only two days to convince her I'm not like the coward who broke her heart and what we could have is worth fighting for.SYDNEY
It took months to finally feel happy and secure after the last time my heart was stomped on. That's why fictional men are better than real ones. Am I right, ladies? No heart crushing activities possible. But just as my romantic side gets with this plan, in waltzes one very persuasive Marine, who exposes my weaknesses and shows me how a good man treats a woman. Although, none of that matters because he can't stay. And all real men, even those with real six-pack abs and dark chocolate eyes, are to be avoided. What I've rebuilt must be protected, no matter how tempting that one Marine may be.This novella is a sweet, closed-door romance with mentions of intimacy, steamy kisses, some coarse language, and casual drinking.Continue Will and Sydney's journey in books 1-4 of The Journey Series (see content warnings).

Finding love after loss sometimes takes a little guidance. There was one time in Sydney's life when she felt whole, good enough, loved. Although her relationship with Will lasted less than a year, it was everything. Now, she's a single mother, trying to give her son the life he deserves. It isn't easy, but she's always been independent and strong, and since losing Will, she's had more than a few opportunities to prove it. Especially when he appears and helps open her heart to Marine veteran Logan Carter.Logan is a wanderer, a loner, and a ticking time bomb. The last thing he needs on his conscience is casualties. Everyone stays safe so long as he keeps his distance and never gets attached to anyone or any place. But there's something about Sydney and her son that makes staying seem a little less dangerous. And neither of them can ignore the guiding light that insists on bringing them together.Recommendation: Read Sydney's backstory in A Journey Worth Taking (prequel novella) first.Content Warning: PTSD and flashbacks (nothing graphic), mentions of suicide by a loved one, loss/grief, seeing a ghost of a loved one, mentions of past verbal abuse, some coarse language, casual drinking
